On May 8th the weblog environment will be upgraded to WordPress version 3.9.

After the upgrade a new text editor will be available. This will be the WP Edit plugin for WordPress. For more information click here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-edit/. Furthermore, the interface will look slightly different.

If you cannot login from your own blog: login on the main site weblog.leidenuniv.nl.
Once you are logged in, go to your own site and go to ‘Dashboard’ then choose ‘Appearnce’and ‘Widgets’. Drag the ‘Meta’ widget to the side bar.
You will now be able to login from your own site.

Guest users should use the ‘Login met Leiden gast account’ button. If you experience problems logging in as a guest user, please send an email to Weblog Beheer and state your username and the url of your weblog.
Our weblog interface is WordPress which is very user friendly. If you need any assistance, there are many manuals available on the internet. For instance http://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/ .
If you are using Internet Explorer you will find you get a certificate error. If you accept and continu, you will find you can log in.
